A great book

A great book. Awesome actions, good stakes, a bit of melodrama, and a loud mouth almost teen sorta sidekick.
Best one yet
Love this series . Great world building. Funny, well written and doesn’t spend eternity catching the reader up on previous books. I laughed out loud several times. Very happy to have found this series.

Such an excellent interesting story! Kate and Curran are still trading words but Curran is doing more. He has started courting/staking a claim but Kate hasn’t discovered it yet. In this book you will meet Julie, Bran and a few more. The story has plenty of action and there is plot twists but the humor really does a lot to making the story enjoyable. Romance of a different caliber but interesting. I love this series and look forward to the next book!
Uber hubbub hubby heb
Lots of subplot movement
We're starting to see these characters open up the arsenal a bit more to see what they can really do.
I'd like to see the same thing happen with the People that has happened with the Pack but I don't think that will come in just yet.
It's very clear the author has a plan and wants to lead us down the rabbit hole leaving just enough to make it interesting, but not to give it away.
Great sequel to a great series opener

This is an action packed urban fantasy with superb writing, great character development in a fantastically gritty, wonderfully detailed post-apocalyptic urban setting. In this sequel to Magic Slays, the characters continue to develop and change, as do their relationships with one another. Mysteries about Kate are revealed bit by bit, and the romance with Curran picks up steam. We also get great new characters and new glimpses into existing favorites. The writing, if anything, improved from great to greater.
Loved this book from start to finish. Couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Would recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure action packed books!
This like the book before is just simple brain candy. She tells a story that let's you see the colors with your minds eye as well as the creatures. My heart picks up with the battles in the field and as Kate get close to the many man-creatures she encounters.
